What is Active Release?
A.R.T.® is a soft tissue system that is used in the treatment of soft tissue injuries. Any injury whether it be an acute tear or a chronic injury from repetitive motion Active Release is a manual technique where the practitioner uses their hands to create tension in a muscle to break up facial adhesion and scar tissue.
How is ART® performed?
It is used for healing soft tissue injuries by locating and breaking down scar tissue. The practitioner uses their hands to apply tension the damaged tissue while lengthening muscles, tendons and ligaments. Active Release loosens up the joint and effectively restores normal bio mechanical function.
