First Meeting

When you come to your first appointment with us, we will have you fill out a complete medical history. Your Doctor of Chiropractic will meet with you and, after reviewing your medical history with you, will discuss your present health concerns and reasons for seeking chiropractic treatment. Your chiropractor will then carry out a thorough physical examination using orthopedic and neurological testing as well as direct palpation of joint movements. This examination will inform the chiropractor of areas of the spine that are not functioning property. After the doctor has reviewed the results of the examation, he will carry out a treatment provided there are no "red flags" or potential contraindications for treatment. In discussing care options, the patient always has the right to decide if they are not open to a particular treatment recommendation.

Your chiropractor will use gentle and focused pressure and manipulation to assist your spine's ability to realize improved function and reduced nerve interference. These chiropractic adjustments assist the body's natural curative processes. Other treatments, such as electrotherapy and Graston technique, may also be used if indicated.

After a treatment from a Doctor of Chiropractric, patients often experience a general sense of well-being, accompanied by relief from pain and increased mobility. The chiropractic adjustment you receive will assist your body in restoring its ability to heal itself.

The main objectives of our Doctors of Chiropractic are to succeed in reaching these objectives in their patients' care and to be a part of their total health care program.
